Rebooting Creativity: From Creative Block to an Effective Workflow

workshop + discussion (in Czech)

How to overcome creative block, build an effective workflow, and actually finish your music

Is your hard drive full of ideas that never quite make it to the finish line? Why does a studio packed with gear often paralyze us instead of inspiring us—and why do we lose the ability to judge our own work objectively?

This workshop grows out of my personal journey: from a period of creative paralysis and repeated label rejections to successful work for theatre and releases on respected labels.

You’ll learn a clear, practical creative workflow that guides you from the very first idea all the way to a finished master. Stop suffering through endless micro-tweaks and gain the confidence you need to finally release your music into the world. Transform the frustration of unfinished projects into the joy of creation—and adopt a mindset that helps you truly complete and publish your musical ideas.

Who is this workshop for?

  • Composers with solid technical foundations who are held back by their own mindset or unhelpful habits

  • Intermediate producers who can operate their DAW but get lost in arrangement and struggle to finish tracks

  • Advanced producers & professionals who feel stuck, battle perfectionism or performance pressure, or are looking for a fresh creative impulse

In short, this workshop is ideal for:

  • Producers with “drawer syndrome” (tracks piling up unfinished)

  • Perfectionists stuck in details

  • Musicians in a creative crisis

  • Anyone searching for a more effective creative workflow

Genre doesn’t matter—whether you work in techno, ambient, pop, or beyond. This is not a technical DAW tutorial, but a deep dive into mindset and the creative process itself.

Sonority has been an active presence on the Czech electronic and club scene for over a decade. His work is distinctly multi-genre, spanning melodic techno, deep house, and experimental electronics. What unites both his productions and live performances is a richly layered sound, dreamlike melodies, strong energy, and an innate sense of dancefloor-driven rhythm.

Alongside his club output, Sonority also composes music for contemporary dance and spoken-theatre productions, working in a neo-classical idiom with influences ranging from electronic music to minimalism.

His tracks and remixes have been released on a wide range of respected labels, including Manual, 3rd Avenue, Toast & Jam, Einmusika, TRAUM Schallplatten, Distinctive Records, and Rune. Sonority has performed at leading Czech festivals such as Colours of Ostrava, Let It Roll, and United Islands, as well as at international events including Wilsonic, Electronic Beats, and Springfestival.
