Exhibition: Gram kosmu - Pavel Holeček

Enter a space where sound experiment and kinetic forms come together in a unique installation. Again this year, the multi-genre festival Spectaculare will include an interactive exhibition with a musical theme. In collaboration with Pavel Holeček and The Chemistry Gallery, Gram Kosmu, a sonic installation consisting of unique audio-kinetic sculptures generating live ambient musical compositions in which individual elements merge into one living organism, will be presented from 1 March. The exhibition will take place at the (A)VOID Gallery on the Prague Embankment in dugout 10. Come and see that the fantasy world of music and shapes in motion is universal! On March 15th from 18:30 a guided tour of the exhibition with Pavel Holeček will take place.
Opening hours: Every day, 5 - 8 p.m., 1. - 15. March 2025)

Pavel Holeček is an innovative artist with an innate passion for ambient music and for combining audio, kinetics, light and the latest technologies in his organic sculptures. All these elements of the work are always connected into one common theme - ambient. The Gram Cosmos installation itself was "tested on people" in his hometown of Kladno, with great success, from children to the advanced, from casual passers-by to artistic intellectuals.
The very title of the exhibition, Gram kosmu, reflects the artist's deep fascination with the infinity that we carry within us. The exhibition is a tribute to the unlimited creativity and absolute freedom that lies hidden in art, just waiting to be discovered.
Gram Kosm's sonic installation will be full of audio-kinetic sculptures that generate sound compositions themselves for the 5.1 surround audio system. This system consists of five separate speakers, with each sculpture representing one audio channel. The surround sound then provides an immersive experience that is enhanced by a kinetic orbital arm travelling through the space with one of the speakers. This element thus underlines the light motif of the project, which is music in real movement. Ambient musical compositions are then generated by the installation itself, motorically controlled through touch sensors.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the Spectaculare Festival, The Chemistry Gallery and AVOID Gallery.
